FAQ's

  • Our classes are booked using our studio app: EB Pilates (MindBody platform) or the website.  You can also book here:

  • 5 minutes before the start of your class is ideal.  It’s fine if you get there earlier, just please be respectful of the class still in session.  We have a sitting area and cubbies for you to store your personal items.  

     

    **Note that some classes run back-to-back, so please allow that class to finish completely.  

  • ATTITUDE:  Most importantly, bring a positive attitude. Leave all your worries behind. The class is for you. You need to be present-minded when working out to maximize the benefits of the class.

     

    CELL PHONES:  Please put cell phones on silent during classes (please be respectful of others).  No cell phones are allowed while using equipment.  We provide cubbies/storage for your items.  

    **If there is a call you need to take, you are welcome to step away from your machine and complete your call away in privacy.  The class will continue, and you may rejoin when you’re done.*  

     

    WATER:  Most students like to bring their own water bottle. We have a water dispenser for refills, and small cups if you forget your bottle. 

     

    CLOTHING:  Wear comfortable clothes that allow your muscles to stretch and your skin to “breathe."  Jewelry is NOT a good idea, especially necklaces that can get caught in the equipment.  

     

    GRIP SOCKS:  Grip socks are required for all classes.  We have a basket of clean socks in different styles for you to try out.  We also sell several types in-house.  Some brands we ❤️:  ToeSox, Tavi, Arebesk, Amazon varieties.  We also have grip gloves.  

     

    ALLERGIES:  Please, NO strong perfumes, as some students are allergic.  

  • It depends on your current fitness level.  Most of our members do well in the group classes. The workout is challenging, but the instructors are trained to make sure everyone uses appropriate form. 

    However, if you have chronic back pain, painful joints, a severe medical condition or have not been physically active in the past, it is recommended to take a private session to evaluate your fitness level.

  • We adhere to a 4-hour cancellation/rescheduling policy for any cancellations or changes. “Late cancels” and “no shows” will lose that session.  If an emergency arises, please contact your instructor and we will try to accommodate.  Otherwise the session will be lost!  

  • We have two waitlist spots for each class.  If there’s a specific time you need, waitlisting may be able to get you a spot, since people cancel for various reasons.  

    BUT…it is your responsibility to refresh your app and check your email to see if you’ve been added.  

  • Group Classes are between 50-60 minutes depending on size of classes and experience level of the participants.  

    Private Sessions are booked as 55 minutes, but we usually leave some extra time available for beginners.  

Our Studio Policies

Please arrive 5 minutes before class time.  You can have a seat in our waiting area, but please be respectful if another class is in progress.

We adhere to a 4-hour cancellation/rescheduling policy. We require a 4-hour window for any cancellations or changes in order to avoid late-cancel penalties.  Clients will lose that session if they late cancel or are a No Show to class.  We encourage clients to reach out to their instructor, or the owner, if there’s an emergency.   *We will deal with situations on a case-by-case basis.

If you are registered for a specific class but want to attend at another time, you must cancel your class 1st, then schedule your new one via the Studio App or website. If you make this change inside the 4-hour cancellation window, please contact the instructor to help.  Otherwise the original session will be lost.

Grip socks must be worn in all  classes. If you do not have grip socks, we have them available for purchase at the studio, plus an assorted collection to borrow from until you purchase your own. **Grip socks not required for Yoga if you bring your own mat for the Mat Studio.

To respect your instructors and fellow clients, please SILENCE ALL cell phones, and no cell phones are allowed while on the machines or during the workout.  If you must make or take a call, please step away from the reformer and complete your call in the sitting area, office, or outside.  You may rejoin the class when you are done.

Class times and instructors are subject to change at any time.​

If you do not remove yourself from the waitlist and you are added to a class, you are expected to attend. You will be charged and lose that session for not attending. If you want to avoid losing the class, YOU MUST REMOVE YOURSELF from the waitlist. It is the clients responsibility to remove themselves from the waitlist if they no longer can wait or no longer wish to attend the class.

MindBody will add people from the waitlist into the classes as spots become available up until 1 hour before the class starts.  If something opens up within the hour before class begins, the instructor will be able to manually add you.

Pregnancy

Clients who have been regularly attending classes prior to becoming pregnant may continue working out with us as long as we have received signed approval from your doctor. New clients who are pregnant, please email us at owner@everybodymc.com to discuss your options.

**Clients who are more than 15 minutes late for a scheduled class will be marked absent. No Show penalty will apply (loss of session) as we are unable to fill that spot with someone from the waitlist.
