Meet Our Instructors
Angeline

Angeline began her 1st teaching career as an Elementary and Middle School English teacher for 20 years. The love of Pilates began for her in 2011 while living in Lafayette. The first part of her journey was with the Lagree Method at Pilates Plus and then Body Factory Lafayette.
In 2016, she switched to a more classical style of Pilates and met her soon-to-be mentor, Mary Beth Langlinais- owner of Pique Pilates in Youngsville. When Mary Beth offered a Comprehensive Certification through PhysicalMind Institute, she invited Angeline to participate. That’s where the
dream was born.
When Angeline moved back to Morgan City in late 2019, she planned to begin private Pilates sessions from home, but the COVID-19 pandemic put those plans on hold. In spring of 2022, she began the first Private Pilates Sessions in her sunroom. With over a dozen clients by the fall of 2022, Angeline ordered more equipment and began looking for a commercial space to expand. The first EveryBody Pilates studio opened in late April 2023 next to Morella Physical Therapy. Things took off from there and 10 months
later, and with more teachers at the helm, the studio moved again to its current location on Third Street!!
It’s been a surreal journey from the first private sessions in the sunroom to the studio now! So many beautiful faces have come through the doors and Angeline and all the instructors couldn’t be more grateful!!

Stephanie

Stephanie was born in Slidell, LA. After graduating from Auburn University in Horticulture, she moved to Austin, Texas. While in Austin, she was the head plant buyer for an upscale Nursery/Landscape Architecture firm. She then went on to get her Real Estate License. In 2007, after the birth of their first child, she and her husband decided to move to her husband’s hometown of Morgan City, where he could work for the family business. Staying home and raising her 2 children was a dream come true. As they got older, Stephanie was looking for something for herself.
Cue….. Pilates!
When she heard that Angeline was teaching Reformer classes locally in her home, she immediately signed up and was hooked. After a few classes, she knew that she wanted everyone in Morgan City to have the opportunity to try Pilates. She also knew Angeline would need more teachers to grow the business, so she signed up for teacher training in Houston, TX. She received her Level 1 Comprehensive Mat and Reformer Certification from Peak Pilates and started teaching at the new studio!
In her own Pilates practice, Stephanie saw a big difference in her body including a stronger core, less lower back pain, improved posture, and greater body awareness.
Stephanie loves to watch her students fall in love with Pilates, get stronger, and master exercises that weren’t possible for them before. She also loves coming up with new classes and choreography intended to challenge her students.
Stephanie hopes that she is helping to better the lives of those in her community through Pilates.
Angela

Angela began her Pilates journey in January 2023 with Angeline at her home studio. She immediately fell in love with the “total” workout and the building of core strength. Not only is Pilates physical, it's mental as well. It’s a combination of mind and body, all while being challenging!
Pilates has personally given Angela so much energy and focus. She has tried several forms of exercise in the past, but this is the first that she’s truly “stuck” with long term! She became an instructor because she wanted to share her love of this form of exercise with others.
The beauty of Pilates is that it’s for “all” ages. Young clients as well as older ones all benefit from this form of exercise.
Angela’s favorite thing about being an instructor is seeing the growth of a client. They come in unsure, but within a few sessions you see them becoming more comfortable and familiar with the reformer. They are excited about the strength they are achieving in their core and how it is changing their daily lives. She gets really excited about this because she sees herself in them as well! She’s looking forward to continuing her Pilates education and growing in this form of exercise to share it with all of our wonderful clients.

Sara

Sara began her fitness journey in 2005 at the age of 50 after realizing that as she got older, she wanted to be able to continue doing the things she loved well into her next phase of life. Functional Longevity* was her goal. She became certified to teach Les Mills Body Pump and was an instructor at Atchafalaya 24 Hour Fitness for 11 years.
In June of 2019, Sara took time off to help take care of her grandsons in Baton Rouge. She continued her fitness regimen there until August 2023. While in Baton Rouge, Sara was introduced to the Lagree Method style of Pilates. Later she was introduced to a more Classical style of Pilates with Angeline, who was teaching private reformer Pilates
out of her home.
Realizing the multiple benefits of both Pilates on the reformer and mat, Sara decided to get her Pilates Comprehensive Certification through PhysicalMind Institute with Angeline as her certifying instructor and has been
teaching full-time at EveryBody Pilates since February of 2024.
Sara enjoys establishing a connection with her clients, encouraging them that it is never too late to start your health and fitness journey! Sara also emphasizes that movement and a healthy lifestyle are key to functional longevity.
Sara says that the MOST rewarding part of teaching Pilates is seeing the excitement in a client’s eyes when they realize that they can move in ways that they couldn’t for years, or ever before!!!
*Functional Longevity is maintaining the ability to do what you NEED to do, what you
WANT to do, and what you LIKE to do as late in life as possible. It is possible to be healthy,
robust, energetic, vibrant, and functional well into your 80’s, 90’s and even 100’s.
Sara’s motto:
“It’s Not the Years in Your Life, but the Life in Your Years”
Creating a plan to finish strong at the end of your life

Natalie

Natalie was born in New Orleans and raised on the north shore in Covington. She graduated with a degree in marketing from Southeastern University in Hammond. In 2005 she met the love-of-her-life, Sammy, and married in 2008. They moved to Morgan City in 2011 and started their family. She is now the mom of 3 active young boys!
Natalie feels blessed to be a stay-at-home mom, but knew she needed an outlet for her own well-being. With the confines of the Covid pandemic, the loss of several loved ones, everyday stressors of life, and just some low moments; exercise became a lifeline for her.
Between strength training with her friend, Tallie, Pilates sessions with Angeline, and a dedication to her Faith, Natalie began to see the light. She says that the physical improvements from exercise are a side effect compared to the healing of her heart and soul through movement. She found herself again and parts of herself that she had thought were lost since motherhood. She loves feeling strong and empowered by all she has accomplished mentally and physically.
When Angeline offered a Comprehensive Pilates Teacher training in the fall of 2023, Natalie knew it was something she wanted to pursue. Fast-forward to today, Natalie loves teaching Pilates. It has become her passion to get others moving and watching them progress in their own practice.
Natalie’s favorite thing about being an instructor is watching clients walk through the door, distracted by their busy lives and responsibilities, but once they are on the reformer and focused, it all fades away for that wonderful hour. They leave with smiles on their faces and so glad that they came!!
Fun Fact: Natalie and Angeline met for the first time in the waiting room for the 1st Covid vaccine (while masked). Then again for the 2nd round, same place!! The rest is history!!
Katie

Katie was born and raised in Morgan City. She graduated from Morgan City High School in 2005. After graduation she went on to complete cosmetology school in Lafayette at the Aveda Institute. She is a full-time cosmetologist at Southern Roots Salon and Spa, and an instructor at EveryBody Pilates.
Katie started her Pilates journey in September 2022 at Angeline’s private studio in her sunroom. She fell in love with it immediately and has been working on her practice ever since. A year into her practice, Angeline saw the love and determination she had, so she asked her to become an instructor. Katie didn’t think she could make it work with a full-time job, family, and kids in extracurriculars year-round. But when she took some time to think about, she figured why not!!
Katie jumped right in and loves working with the clients. Her favorite parts of being an instructor are watching her clients grow from class to class, and doing moves they never thought they could do. She loves seeing clients of all ages, strengths, and abilities thrive with every class they take. Her absolute favorite part about being a Pilates instructor though, is seeing everyone who is willing to open their minds to trying something new when it comes to fitness. She is so grateful that Angeline has brought this practice to our small town.
FUN FACT: Katie and Angeline first met when Katie was a student in Angeline’s first 5th grade class at Holy Cross Elementary!! She then became one of Angeline’s first Pilates students in the sunroom, and then a student in Angeline’s first instructor training class. Needless to say, they have been together for a long time!!
Katie is married to Jason and has two amazing children
